Genuine enjoyment of the Australian tax system may be an alien concept to the majority of us, but not to me. The intricacies and constantly shifting landscape of taxation law serve to keep me on my toes and are one of the driving forces behind my creation of Outcome Tax.
I am driven to help those who don’t share my passion and are feeling the stresses of a looming tax return. It’s my mission to not just complete and lodge your tax return, but to offer a comprehensive service that delivers the results you need.

What is a Tax Agent?
A tax agent is someone who deals with the ATO on your behalf. Their combination of extensive tax experience and specialised training makes tax agents uniquely qualified to handle and lodge your tax returns quickly, efficiently and – most importantly – correctly.
You’re not required to use a tax agent when you file your tax return, but the support offered by a registered tax agent can be invaluable.
Qualifications and Experience
My professional life has been a journey through various financial positions covering the whole spectrum of the industry, focusing on individual, partnership and trust tax returns, along with Business Activity Statements (BAS).
The journey to where I am today started with completing a Bachelor of Business in Professional Accounting at USQ. After this, I worked in the manufacturing and mining industries while obtaining my Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) accreditation back in 2002.
This was followed by a decade of experience as a tax consultant for a major firm, where I gained a wealth of experience in financial accounting, corporation taxes and working as a financial controller.
It’s important to me that I understand my clients’ situations and needs. In addition to my career in finance, my path through life has given me exposure to wide-ranging occupations. From the Army Reserves to fruit picking, from abattoirs to healthcare, and from corporate offices to education facilities, my experiences have provided me with a unique personal perspective on taxation in many walks of life.
Outcome Tax
With my expert-level tax knowledge, varied life experience and a genuine passion for our nation’s taxation system, it was inevitable that I would set out on my own as a tax agent. After much prompting from family, friends and even clients, I attained registered tax agent status and launched my own venture, Outcome Tax.
My guiding principles of honesty, integrity and transparency lay the groundwork for strong relationships with my clients, and are at the heart of everything I do. It’s my hope that we can share some laughs and exchange a lot of knowledge while working towards achieving your very best tax outcome.
